Short and concrete: here's what happens to your data when you request an Idea Book from WINDOW.
Who we are

What data we collect
Your intake answers (your situation, age, location and preferences) and, if you pay, the email address you enter with Stripe. For a paid order we also record that you accepted the Terms of Service and consented to immediate digital delivery — including the time, version, and (for that one consent) your IP address and browser — as evidence in case of a dispute. WINDOW never stores card or payment details itself — that runs entirely through Stripe.
What we use it for
Solely to put together and send your Idea Book, and to be able to show under what conditions a paid order was placed. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
How long we keep it
Your intake answers stay linked to an anonymous session, not to your name or email. Only once you pay do we link your email address to that session, so we can send your Idea Book. Order and consent records are kept for as long as needed to keep an order demonstrable.
Optional: remembering what you were shown
Only if you tick it on the checkout page, we store a random code in a cookie on your device for 12 months, and — linked only to a hashed version of that code — which activities your Idea Books showed, so the next one doesn't repeat them. No name, no e-mail address. Switch it off at checkout or press 'Forget this device' below and everything stored for the device is deleted straight away; rows also expire after 12 months.
Nothing is remembered on this device.
During a test phase: a limit per internet connection
During a test phase the number of books per internet connection may be limited. For that we do not store your IP address, but an encrypted code derived from it (with a secret key that only exists on our server) which we cannot turn back into the address. The code is separate from your name and e-mail address and is deleted along with the session it belongs to; only the owner can see it.
